Established in 1979, Beddington is a mature community and provides a wide range of housing-including townhomes, duplexes, and detached homes. With its affordable housing and community amenities, such as schools, shopping and transportation, Beddington is a popular attraction for many home buyers.
Beddington Heights Heights Calgary was originally a CPR station and is one of the largest neighbourhoods in the city. The community is situated near Deerfoot Trail, just off Beddington Heights Trail, and provides very affordable housing.
From Beddington Heights, Nose Hill Park is readily accessible, as are a multitude of shopping options, including Beddington Town Centre, Country Hills Town Centre, and Centre Street. In general, the neighbourhood has great access to Downtown Calgary, as well as other areas of the city.

In addition, the centre has a nursery, a gym, a large field, an ice rink and a fitness centre. In order to meet the needs of the growing community, the Calgary Community Theatre Ltd. has taken over the management of the Community Centre.
Beddington Heights Shopping, Restaurants and Professional Services
Beddington boasts a prime location with easy access to all the shopping in the area in Northwest Calgary. The Beddington Town Centre, anchored by Safeway and a variety of retailers, is located in the middle of the neighbourhood. Right across the street, you can find the Beddington Co-op Center and the smaller Beddington Village Shopping Centre. Harvest Hills Crossing, with its retail shops and restaurants, is situated in the North, with the Asian food market TnT as the central tenant. Significant traffic arteries such as Shaganappi Trail and John Laurier Boulevard are also within easy reach of other shopping destinations, such as the Market Mall, the Creekside Shopping Center and the Country Hills Town Centre.
Transit in Beddington Heights
Beddington Heights is currently not close to a CTrain line however the community has good bus routes, taxis and Ubers are always great options. As for driving a vehicle, Beddington has numerous weel kept roads that are cleared in the winter buy the city of Calgary and provide easy access to any part of the city.
