Calgary Real Estate market Week in Review October 20th – 26th

This week I have decided to change the reporting period for the Calgary week in review from Monday – Friday to Monday – Sunday.  The reason for this is Realtors are still posting information over weekends and this will be a much more accurate way to cover all the days of the week.  Also as an added bonus we have a week in review chart to post along with the stats. I hope you enjoy the new layout.

Total listing inventory this week was at 8,505 with 5,741 being single family homes and 2,764 being condo listings. The average sale price of a single family home was $443,480 and condos came in at $298,440.

Please note:  These averages do not indicate the average sale price of Calgary real estate.  Just the average for the week mentioned.

Totals for October 13th – 18th 2008

Listing Inventory = 8,505

Single Family Home Sales = 180

Condo Sales = 88

Pending Sales = 307

Expired / Terminated Listings = 216
