While living in BC we became interested in purchasing real estate. We found a great real estate web site and entered in our criteria. Within a short time frame we received an email from Nevin Van Nest of Royal LePage. We arranged a weekend trip to see the city and to our surprise Nevin had lined up numerous properties for us to view, spent the day showing us around, informed us of which areas met our requirements, and answered our millions of questions. We were extremely impressed that he would put so much effort into our search without knowing if we would actually decide to relocate.
Nevin kept in contact when we went back to BC keeping us apprised to the housing market and providing us with tons of information. We have never used a realtor that listened to every detail of our requirements and showed us only the houses that met those needs until we worked with Nevin. Most impressive though was the fact that he provided every service that he said he would and a lot more. Our list of criteria may have been lengthy but he always assured us that it was no problem. While viewing properties he was always very honest and forthright as to whether it was suitable or desirable.
We are happy to say that two weeks after arriving we made an offer and now own the home we had hoped for. We are also pleased to say that not only did we meet a great realtor but also a really great guy with whom we keep in contact. We would have absolutely no problem recommending Nevin to anybody that is looking to buy or sell.

Dear Daryl,
I’ve made the real estate purchases in my life. The first two experiences left me feeling manipulated and lied to as the agents pushed hard to get on to the next deal, so I wasn’t too eager to do it again – but thought the stress of dealing with a realtor would still be easier than attempting it myself as I am ill and limited energy.
I decided to move from Winnipeg to Sakatoon and Norm Fisher and Nevin Van Nest of your office was recommended to me from another realtor which I felt was likely to be about as useful a reference and pointing randomly in the Yellow Pages. I contacted Norm and we discussed some properties throug the internet, phone and email and he set up some viewings.
I am not very familiar with Saskatoon so I was not just choosing an unknown home but an unknown neighbourhood as well. During my brief visit to Saskatoon I was impressed with Norm’s ability to further understand my needs and his honesty in representing properties and neighbourhoods. He didn’t waste my time presenting a bunch of inappropriate choices to make one or two standout, something I’ve experienced years before another agent.
After my visit I decided to make an offer. I email Norm and got an auto response saying he was on holidays and that his partner Nevin Van Nest was looking after his business. Great! I thought I’m just starting to trust a agent and now I’ll have to deal with another potentially manipulative one.
This was not the case. Nevin was very helpful and I never once doubted his goal of looking after my interests not his. When Norm returned Nevin’s hand off of our dealings was transparent and Norm got me to the finish line with equal honesty and integrity, never once rushing to sae himself time at my expense. Norm and Nevin’s clear communication and use of technology, internet, scanning, email, faxes and toll free telephone lines was impressive and save me significant time, stress and cost.
I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending either Norm Fisher or Nevin Van Nest to anyone, which I find significant, as I previously would have recommended a reptile over an agent. Royal LePage and yourself are fortunate to have them associated with your agency.
